Mitil Jain and Gopi Desai in Apne Toh Apne Hote Hai

Tellychakkar.com was the first to break the news of Anita Hassanandani and Mona Ambegaonkar being roped in by Beyond Dreams for their upcoming show Apne Toh Apne Hote Hai on Life OK. Now, we are here to announce a couple of more entries in the soap. Mitil Jain – who is currently part of Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV) – and Gopi Desai – who is seen in Saas Bina Sasural (Sony Entertainment Television) – have been signed to play important roles.

Here’s the plot of the show. It is a story of two families out of which one will be situated in an urban city while the other will reside in a small town. And Anita, who plays the female protagonist, will come to the small town or rather her village to help a friend with his project but this indeed will change her life.

Talking about the new entries, Mitil will be seen as the negative lead. His character’s name will be Lakhan Thakur, who will overreact in every situation. In fact, he will also have a past attached with the female lead’s mother played by Mona Ambegaonkar. On the other hand, Gopi Desai will play Thakur’s bhabhi (sister-in-law) and her character too will have grey shades. However, she will be the only person whom Thakur will respect and listen to.

The pilot of the show has been already shot in Mumbai and Pune in end of February and mid March (2012).

As reported earlier, Sudhanshu Pandey will be seen as the male lead and Saurabh Jain will play the parallel lead.

Tellychakkar.com talked to Mitil Jain about his entry but he refused to comment, while Gopi Desai remained unavailable till the time of filing the article.
