Shalini Kapoor to essay strikingly contrasting roles in Zee TV's Qubool Hai and Life OK's Apne Toh Apne Hote Hain

Shalini Kapoor who was last seen essaying the role of Prasuti in Life OK’s successful show Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev will play two contrastingly opposite characters in two upcoming shows.

She will be seen essaying the mother of the male protagonist Karan Singh Grover in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai, produced by 4 Lions Films. Dilshaad, the character she plays has faced the rough challenges of life to bring up her son. With her son flourishing in his career and becoming a business tycoon, life finally seems to be a bed of roses for Dilshaad.. Qubool Hai has Karan Singh Grover and newbie Surbhi Jyoti in lead roles.

Shalini will also be seen in Beyond Dreams’ Apne Toh Apne Hote Hain for Life OK. And with this, she will yet again be paired with Mouni Roy in the story line after their successful mother-daughter pairing in Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev. However, in Apne.. she will essay the main negative called Kalki, who happens to be the Thakurain of the village. Kalki will have a score to settle with the female lead and does not allow her to live peacefully in the village. Apne Toh Apne Hote Hain has Aditya Redij and Mouni Roy as leads..

When contacted, Shalini Kapoor confirmed the news to “Yes, as you see in the promo of Qubool Hai, I play the mother of the lead guy, Karan Singh Grover. In the Life OK show for Yash Patnaik, I play the main negative who is pitted against the female lead in the show.”
