Mamta Chaturya aka Phooli of Balika Vadhu is down with body infection
Working in TV soaps sometimes takes a toll on the health of actors. Why? Well… they shoot nonstop for hours and work really hard day in and out. Surekha Sikri aka Dadisa from Colors’ Balika Vadhu went on a month long break due to illness. And the latest we have learned is that another actor from the show has been keeping unwell from quite some time now.
If viewers have observed, Mamta Chaturya, who plays the role of Phooli (Gauri’s friend) has been missing from action. Reason? She was admitted in Hinduja hospital wherein she was recuperating from a severe body infection. She has been under treatment for over a month now.
Mamta, who got discharged a few days back, shared with Tellychakkar.com, “I had fever for a long time now and it was treated accordingly but doctor’s failed to diagnose the disease precisely. It was actually body infection which spread all over. I am resting at home currently and won’t be shooting for the next two months.”
Her co actor in the show Sumit Malhan also confirmed, “She was not keeping well since long.”
