Anandii buys a flute for Jagya, but the muchchi boy comes there and snatches it from her and laughs. He says he wants a flute too and tries to play it. Anandi is upset that the boy used the flute she bought for Jagya. She demands to get it back. The boy refuses. Gulli gives a stick to beat the boy, but the boy gets away on a bike. Anandi is upset and tells the girls that they should go home.
Upon returning Krishna bhabhi tells Anandi that Khajan had been released from jail the previous day itself. Anandi is happy. But then Krishna Bhabhi says that Govind had called to say that they have no idea where Khajan is. Anandi calls Govind and Bhago and Bhago cries inconsolably, panicking and worrying about where Khajan went. Anandi promises to come there immediately, despite Bhago's protests. She leaves with Phooli, taking a photo of Khajan with her.
Upon reaching Jaipur, she consoles Bhago and tells her that they should go to the police and file a missing person report. The inspector at the police station doesn't seem interested in filing a report and talks carelessly to them. Anandi gives a big bhashan abt how its his duty, to think of his family etc. A higher official comes there and after listening to Anandi's speech, he reprimands the inspector and has him file the report.
Anandi goes to Khajan's prison and requests the jailor to let her speak to Khajan's cell mate. The jailor permits this. Anandi meets Murari, Khajan's cell mate who is happy to see Anandi. He says that Khajan was very very happy to be released early. Anandi tells him that he never reached home and Murari is shocked. Anandi asks him if Khajan told him anything but Murari denies knowing anything. Anandi gives him snacks and leaves. Murari blesses her.
