The episode starts with Yashodhara walking into her room, and DS is standing there. Yashodhara sits down, and drinks water, DS asks if she met Keshav. Yashodhara says that she met him, invited the family for dinner tomorrow night, and they all agreed. DS is really happy, and asks if Naintara was home.
Yashodhara bristles and says that it's her house, of course she'd be there. DS asks if anything happened. Yashodhara says that DS told her to ask for Keshav's forgiveness, and she did. DS says that if by doing so, it hurt Yashodhara in some way, he's very sorry. He didn't want it to be like that. Yashodhara says she didn't complain, or refuse to go, so why the apology? DS says that he knows now that Yashodhara didn't go of her own accord. Yashodhara says that coming to Shimla wasn't her idea either, but she did it for DS... as all these years, she's been agreeing to DS' wishes.
Chanchal, who was walking past, hears her in-laws arguing, and stands behind the door and listens. Yashodhara says that after all these years DS still doesn't understand her... look at today for example.. she was the one who was forced to go to their house... if Yashodhara had her way, she'd never step foot there... in fact, that house wouldn't be standing, and her son...
DS tells her to stop...
Cut to Nivi and Yash in Nivi's room. Yash wants to go to the dinner tomorrow night, but he's worried Keshav won't allow it because his exams start in two days. Nivi is preoccupied with what she's going to wear for the dinner, and Yash gets fustrated. He yanks an outfit out of Nivi's hand and makes her promise that she'll talk to Keshav about letting Yash come to the dinner. Nivi promises, and kicks Yash out of her room. Nivi finally decides on a purple salwar to wear.
Back in the Sood mansion, DS is looking at a book when Jawahar comes, and says that Lalji called him. DS asks Jawahar if he's going anywhere today... Jawahar glumly replies in the negative, and DS says that if he has any plans for the next day, he needs to cancel them as tomorrow is a special day. Jawahar asks if anyone's coming, and DS says that Naintara and her family are going to come... and Yashodhara's the one who invited them.
Jawahar makes an excuse that he's got some important work the next day, and DS furiously tells Jawahar to cancel it, as work can be completed anytime, but asking for forgiveness can't. He expects Jawahar to move on, as he made Yashodhara understand today. Jawahar says he'll try to, and walks off.
In his room, Chanchal is sitting reading a magazine, and Jawahar storms in fuming at what DS said. He complains that Chanchal was the one who told Yashodhara to invite the Sharma's for dinner. He can't believe what Chanchal has done.
When Jawahar stops, Chanchal asks him if he's done. It is true that she told Yashodhara to invite them for dinner... but not to reignite their friendship, but to ruin it and stay as enemies. Jawahar asks how she's going to do that, and Chanchal says that Jawahar's lost the right to ask that as he lost all the respect and admiration they had for him... now she's going to bring that back, and Jawahar has to trust her. She tells him that he needs to call Pratap as Yashodhara only stayed downstairs and didn't invite Pratap.
Cut to Pratap and Hemalata sitting down in their lounge. Hemalata tells Pratap that Yashodhara came today. Pratap is amazed, and asks why she came. Hemalata doesn't know as Yashodhara came to see Naintara... but what she does know is that Yashodhara's visit means the Soods and the Sharmas' will be friends again. Pratap isn't so sure... and just then the phone rings.
It's Jawahar. He's called to invite Pratap and his family to the dinner, just as another invite. Pratap excitedly agrees, and hangs up. Hemalata tells him that her thinking was right... it looks like the Soods and Sharmas' are going to be friends again.
On the other side, Jawahar is fuming. First he had to do everything DS wanted, and now he has to listen to Chanchal - when will he ever listen to himself? Chanchal tells him that DS made him walk away from the battle, but she is fighting to make him win. If Jawahar wants to get rid of Keshav, then find out his weakness... like his house. Chanchal heard Yashodhara mentioning their house in her argument with DS. Chanchal wants to know why the house was built there to begin with... Jawahar agrees to find out.
Vandana is in the kitchen when Sid walks in super happy. He starts asking her what she's making for dinner the next night, and Vandana exclaims that Sid never asks that. Sid says that his friends are coming over... he's so excited. Vandana smiles, and lists the food.. Sid tells her to make a few changes, and Vandana mentions that he's remembering his childhood when him, Nivi and Divya would sit in the kitchen and eat together.
Sid smiles at the memory, and mentions for Vandana to make kali dhal for Nivi, and something for Divya... he wants to make it special. When Vandana asks what Sid wants, all he says is whatever Vandana makes will be perfect for him. Vandana smiles, and says that his wife will get angry at her for spoiling him with her cooking. Sid says that his wife can learn from his mother, or his wife has to make better food that he forgets his mum's cooking. Vandana swats him, and then Sid says he knows what his wife will be like.
Sid picks up a silver tray, and points it at Vandana, and says that she'll be the sweetest woman, she'll be innocent, and she'll be so beautiful. He kisses Vandana on the cheek and walks off, leaving Vandana smiling at his antics.
Back at the Sharma's, Hemalata comes into Divya's room, and tells her that they've been invited for dinner at Sid's place. Divya is excited, and Hemalata sits her down and explains that Divya needs to quieten down, or they'll think she has no manners. And besides, they don't need to know how smart Divya is...
Divya agrees, and Hemalata is surprised... Divya says that she's growing up, and she understands now. Hemalata smiles, and removes nazar from her. She tells Divya that she can stay well away from Chanchal, after all Yashodhara was the one who invited them. Hemalata walks off leaving Divya smiling..
She walks out onto her balcony, and sees Sid on his. She tries to ask him a question, but he doesn't follow... so she calls him. What follows is a cute conversation, in which Sid tells her that he specially asked his mum to make something for her. Divya is excited, and Sid tells her he'll see her the next day. He hangs up, waves, and walks off. Divya stands there...
The song sequence of Iktara begins b/w Divya, Nivi and Sid.
(It's really quite adorable to be honest.)
The episode ends with Divya, Nivi & Sid all standing in the rain... all falling in love.
