Default Choti Bahu[Last Episode] - 17th September 2010 Written Update

Part 1:
The episode begins with a re-play of Dev answering the phone and frowning. The Purohit and Shastri families, plus PTS follow Dev into the living room and look at him. We are not told why Dev looks concerned.
The scene cuts to a temple. Inside, Imarti is sitting on the floor in front of the Deities of Radha and Krishna with her bag in her lap. She has her hand on her chin and is scowling. Guilt eats away at her as she has flashbacks of her interactions with Radhika and how Radhika showered her with so much affection. Imarti turns to the Radha Krishna murtis and says, you know, there are two paths I can take. The first one is to run and be my own boss since I have all this wealth with me and nobody can stop me from getting anything I want and doing whatever I please...the second path is...well darn it, I don't even really know what the second path is! All I know is that my own two feet brought me on that path, that's why I'm sitting here in this temple. Imarti tells herself that she doesn't know why her conscience is telling her that the second path is better for her and she can attain everything she wants by following that path instead of the first one. She says, I could've easily fled and been far away from Delhi by now, but I don't know why I stopped at this temple and why I've been sitting here for so long! She looks at Kanha and says, hey you used to steal too, right? Well you stole butter...but anyway that's besides the point! (LOL) Anyway, my methods of stealing are a little different from yours, but there's definitely something binding us togther...that's why I came here. Imarti then makes a serious face and tells Kanha, if you don't keep me here until evening then I will take the first path and flee. I'm afraid of integrity, you see. But that old man (PTS) must have been bitten by a loyal dog because he's always preaching loyalty and integrity! And that Radhika? Whenever she opens her mouth I feel like I'm listening to a religious class given by a Babaji! She cares for me so much that...darn! Even if I treat her the absolute worst, she always showers me with love! Nobody has loved me in such a way ever before...now I kind of miss it and feel like I need love in my life. I even feel a little guilty betraying Radhika's trust. Maybe that's why I came here to this temple.
Meanwhile RaDev and their families all arrive at the temple. Nandu greets Dev and tells him that Radhika didi is sitting inside the temple sulking. Then he sees Radhika behind Dev and expresses shock. Radhika explains that the girl who is inside is Imarti, her twin sister. She tells Dadi and the family that she will go meet Imarti and be right back.

Part 2:
Imarti curses herself for sitting in the temple all day long instead of running. Radhika enters the temple and is relieved to see Imarti. She tells her twin she was so worried about her and Imarti's eyes light up and she asks, really you were worried about me? Then she frowns and guiltily says, but I stole all your family's money and robbed you of your respect along with it...and you're not angry with me? You still think highly of me? Radhika smiles and replies, you are precious and priceless for me. Imarti is touched but tries to cover her emotions with her tough exterior. Then she says, does anyone ever steal...I mean carry such a huge bag and sit in a temple all day? I sat here mulling things over because your love rubbed off on me. That's just the way you are...anyone whom you embrace, your good qualities and love rub off on them. Then Imarti yells at Radhika, it's all your fault I didn't run away! If you hadn't hugged me before I stole everything from the safe, I'd have made off with crores of wealth and I'd have gone somewhere peaceful and livd like a queen. Radhika grins while Imarti continues her antics and says, you are contagious! See, you touched me and now I too am afflicted by a conscience and some quality of goodness which prevented me from running away with the stolen money. Imarti then realizes the temple she's in is the same one where PTS left Radhika as an infant and theorizes that maybe that's why she felt the need to come here. Radhika wipes away the tears that have formed in her eyes and tells Imarti, just see Kanha has blessed you today. You are beginning to realize the goodness within yourself. Always remember that Kanha is your eternal friend and stands by you through everything. Do you know Imarti, after finding you everything has turned right in my life and my family's life. Today I am so happy to have won your trust. Radhika tells Imarti to stand up and Imarti says, why, so you can steal my bag? (LOL) Radhika laughs and says, no silly! She then hugs Imarti lovingly, causing Imarti to become emotional and hug her sister back.

Part 3:
Imarti pulls back suddenly and says, hey stop it now! Radhika just smiles at her. Then Imarti's expression changes and she grins and asks Radhika if "the budha" came here. Radhika mildly scolds her for calling PTS a budha and says, I've explained to you not to call our father "old man". Imarti says "budha" a few more times before reluctantly agreeing to start calling PTS babuji. (She says budhe in the plural, so I'm assuming she's talking about both PTS and SJ).
Outside the temple, PTS is shocked that Imarti actually came to a temple. Dadi says that this is all Kanha's mercy and will. She is relieved that Imarti was found otherwise Radhika would be heartbroken. Dev disagrees and says, no Dadi, Radhika can never break in any way, she is too strong-willed a woman for that. SJ agrees and says that it's Radhika's devotion that has carried her thus far in life and it is that same devotion that will bring Imarti back. He adds that Radhika's devotion is her strength. Vishaka says that Radhika's devotion touches others so deeply that their lives are transformed. She explains, sometimes God sends such a unique person into our lives and this person helps us learn to live, laugh, and love. For me that person is Radhika, she concludes. All agree with Vishaka and Devaki replies, you are absolutely right Vishaka, just see, even someone as stubborn as Ammaji has completely transformed due to Radhika's devotion, goodness, and constant love and respect. She informs all that Amma has gone home to prepare for everyone's arrival. Dadi becomes restless and suggests that everyone go into the temple to see what's taking Radhika and Imarti so long. Inside, Imarti hands her bag to Radhika and says, here...take your treasure...this is rightfully yours. Radhika smiles and says, you are my real treasure Imarti. I have found you, so I am completely satisfied. Imarti looks down and then thanks Radhika for keeping her at PB and taking such good care of her. She adds, if it were not for you loving me and giving me an instant family, I would never have figured out what my goals are and what I want out of life. Before you came into my life, I was aimless, I never understood the value of relationships. Today, I feel as though a part of you is residing in me too. Radhika wipes away her tears of joy and says, how much will you make me weep in happiness, Imarti? Imarti scolds, c'mon stop crying like a baby and come here. She then envelopes Radhika in a warm hug and pats her back. Then she sternly says to Radhika, now don't cry. And if anyone ever makes you cry, I will make them cry! (LOL) Dadi, Dev, and the rest of the family enter the temple and witness the two sisters.

Part 4:
Imarti walks up to Dadi and is about to thrust the bag of money and jewels in her hands, but then gently puts the bag at Dadi's feet. She begins to raise her voice and address Dadi rudely, but then catches herself and says in a polite tone, your choti bahu works magic for sure. Dev looks at Radhika proudly. Imarti explains that she would have fled with all the wealth long ago were it not for Radhika. She excitedly tells everyone that she ended up at this temple in Vrindavan only because Radhika's love infused her heart and made her surrender to Kanha. Dadi praises Radhika and calls her a Devi. She proclaims that nobody can harm a single hair on the head of any family member as long as Radhika is around. Imarti then walks up to PTS and grins sheepishly. PTS is overwhelmed with so much happiness that he feels like he's dreaming. He is proud of both of his daughters and thanks Radhika for bringing Imarti back. Imarti is about to shout something at her father, then catches Radhika's glance and quickly softens her tone. She addresses PTS as Babuji, which pleasantly surprises and moves him to tears. PTS laughs and says, where has the budha gone? Imarti also laughs. Radhika tells her birth father that his dream will never break. Imarti then goes up to Vivek and says agar abhi bhi tu...then corrects herself and says agar abhi bhi aap (aap=you in polite form) meaning if you still use these crutches to walk, I will consider it that you have not forgiven me. Vivek smiles and hands over the crutches to Imarti. He then takes two steps on his own and exchanges another smile with Imarti. Dadi says to Imarti, you have fullfilled one of my wishes by taking the crutches from Vivek's hand and encouraging him to walk. Now won't you take his hand in yours and fullfill my other wish? Tell me, will you become my badi bahu? Imarti is stunned and her jaw drops open. With wide, surprised eyes she glances at Vivek, then raises her eybrows at him in approval and smiles shyly. Everyone is ecstatic and SJ exclaims, bolo banke Bihariji ki jay! (All glories to Lord Banke Bihariji [Kanha]!) Shastriji then invites everyone to participate in aarti. Suddenly a voice calls out Radhika's name. She turns around and is pleased to see Kanha standing before her. She immediately folds her palms in prayer and thanks Kanha for all the happiness he has given her. Kanha tells her that her happiness is the fruit of all her unyielding, unwavering devotion. He then says, I am very pleased that in this kaliyug (age of hypocrisy, evil, and quarreling) there are still devotees like you who preach goodness and integrity and spread it around. You have embellished me more Radhika, and in the coming ages this will give my devotees even more reason to become enlightened. For time immemorial and years to come you will be heralded as my greatest devotee, one who found her own Kanha right here in Vrindavan. Your story is one of truth, devotion, faith, and love. I especially test those devotees who are dear to my heart. You have passed my every pariksha with flying colours. Thank you for your sincere, pure devotion. I will remain your eternal friend and stay with you always. Kanha then disappears, walking slowly away from Radhika, and Dev appears, walking towards Radhika. Radhika smiles as Dev takes her hands in his and smiles back at her. Episode...and series ends.
