Default Manoj Chandila and Via to play leads in Hema's show..

Hema Malini's debut show on television as Producer which will be on COLORS, has got its lead pair...

DTF had earlier reported that Hema Malini's show on COLORS, tentatively titled 'Jaiyyo Piya Ke Des' is loosely inspired from the popular novel 'Not Without My Daughter'.
We had written that once the casting process is finalized, the unit plans to fly to Mauritius for an outdoor schedule. However, there was a report few days back, which stated that Hema Malini is now keen on working on her home production film, Tell Me Oh Khuda. The report had also mentioned that Hema's show on COLORS has been delayed so that she gets ample time for her film.
But our source gives us a totally different story. "The work on the television show is in progress, and all is going as per schedule. The major cast has been finalized and the unit is all set to leave for Mauritius in another 2-3 days. They will have a 10-15 day schedule out there, after which they will get back to Mumbai for shoot", narrates our khabroo.
We hear that Manoj Chandila who made a mark for himself with Star Plus' Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil has been roped in to play the male lead. He was also seen in Imagine's Devi; he is presently essaying the role of a police officer in Na Aana Is Desh Laado. Via Choudhary who was last seen in Zee TV's Keshav Pandit will essay the female lead's role. The story will have a backdrop of Bihar.
