World Cup Super 8, Barbados: West Indies 230-5 beat Bangladesh 131 by 99 runs
Ramnaresh Sarwan struck an unbeaten 91 as West Indies won their first Super 8 match by beating Bangladesh by 99 runs.
The hosts stumbled to 55-3 batting first as Mashrafe Mortaza and Syed Rasel bowled miserly opening spells.
But Sarwan put on 81 for the fourth wicket with Shivnarine Chanderpaul (50) and Brian Lara struck a lusty 33 as West Indies made a respectable 230-5.
The West Indies bowlers then found pace and bounce as the Tigers were skittled for 131 in 43.5 overs in Barbados.
