Anas Rashid aka Sooraj treats the cast and crew of Diya Aur Baati Hum
While productions houses are known to celebrate and have a blast when their show achieves the expected numbers, it is rare that an actor treats his fellow cast and crew members when it tastes success. Recently, Anas Rashid who plays Sooraj in Shashi Sumeet Mittals’ Diya Aur Baati Hum had a private bash for his team mates in the series.
“I was sure that our show will definitely work and TV audiences will like it. But, we were not getting the numbers so when it happened I thought of having a small get-together. I didn’t have the time to throw a proper party, so I ordered some pizzas, jalebis and samosas on the sets. I won’t call it a party,” says Anas.
This is not the first time the actor has treated his team. In fact, Anas, earlier seen in Prithviraj Chauhan and Aise Karo Na Vida has the habit of arranging get-togethers. He reveals, “I love throwing parties and chilling out with my crew. I did that while I was doing Prithviraj Chauhan.”
Incidentally, he plays a halwai in Diya Aur Baati Hum, who loves to treat people. Guess Anas is loving his onscreen character way too much. Good for him!!!
