Bhabho praying in the mandir. Chathuri brings a packet and shows it to Chavvi saying she found this in Mohit's bag and is smelling like sweet, so she brought it here. Bhabhasa is excited hearing sweets. Chavvi finds out it is cake and wonders how did it come in Mohit's bag. Mohit comes there and informs his boss gave him as it was Christmas yesterday. Bhabhasa and Chavvi fight for the cake and both have a piece of cake to eat.
Meena having chat in front of vaidyarani's clinic. She is not enjoying the chat as she is not happy with Bhabho sending SurYa to Mt. Abu. She thinks of doing something to make her position safer by giving the heir to Rathi house. Ankur comes there with a paper that has ad for employment. He asks some person for the address and goes to Vaidyarani Clinic. Meena finishing her chat enters the clinic and sees Ankur there. She is surprised to see him there and thinks he might have also come there for the wish to get a son. Meena excited to question him why he has come there being educated and having said that boy or girl baby, both are same but then stops herself thinking she is digging her own grave by doing that as Ankur would inform Sandhya about her treatment there. She hides from him.
The assistant calls Ankur to vaidyarani's room and as soon as he enters the door is closed. Meena runs to the door to listen what they are speaking but is not able to listen anything as the door is closed. Inside, vaidyarani looking at Ankur's biodata is happy about his experience of working in America too. She asks him why then he has not received any job offer. Ankur says he did not get any good offers. Vaidyarani tells him she is offering him the job to open a website about her clinic and talks about internet being a medium for developing business. Ankur agrees with her and asks her that he would develop the website but he needs the details of their work, etc. and asks her whether she is a gynecologist as he saw pregnant ladies sitting outside. Vaidyarani proudly says that she has no degree but is providing great service to the people. She asks her assistant to give a file to him. Ankur goes through the file and sees their ad pamphlet. He gets angry on her saying there is no science that could give people their choice of child and what she is doing is illegal too. He says he has a girl child and feels proud of it as well as his father who was proud of his sister. He accuses vaidyarani of cheating people and rejects the offer and comes out. Meena hides again. He sees the other ladies sitting there and is in some thought. He then leaves.
Meena enters the room and inquires about Ankur's visit there and assumes he has also come for the same purpose as her. She then wants to make sure that she will get a male child only and vaidyarani assures her and asks her to take the medicines regularly. Meena is happy and pays money for them.
Bhabho stops Bhabhasa and Chavvi from eating the cake. Mohit tries to convince Bhabho but she does not agree. She asks Chathuri to throw that away. Chavvi takes a piece of it without Bhabho's notice but Bhabho notices it and tells her to throw it. Bhabhasa consoles Chavvi to eat halwa and requests Bhabho to make moong dal ka halwa.
In Ajmer, SurYa are having the cake and Suraj feeds Sandhya. They speak about different cultures and festivals in India. Sandhya says one thing common in all the festivals is happiness. She says she is proud of India having so many different cultures and festivals and looks like a vase with colorful flowers. Suraj says that the cake might be prepared by Emily's mother but he tastes the same sweetness like that of halwa prepared by Bhabho. Sandhya says he is speaking like a true halwaii.
Meena in the saree shop, telling Vikram that she saw Ankur in vaidyarani's clinic. Vikram wonders and Meena boasts of vaidyarani's power. They hear slogans of "naari shakthi zindabad" and Meena is interested in joining them as she enjoys it. People coming on the streets with women rights placards and a lady covered her head and being dragged in front of the crowd. Meena joins them and shouting slogans. A woman opens the pallu of the covered woman and tells it is vaidyarani, whose face is blackened with coal and Meena shocked to see vaidyarani in that situation.
SurYa reach college and seems like they have come very early. Suraj tells it is okay but senses something near his leg and ignores it. He again has a feeling something crawling near his leg. Sandhya takes his mobile and lights the torch, sits down and sees nothing and pinches his leg faking it is rat. They both laugh. She then truly sees a rat there and wonders as she has not seen any before. She sees some movement and feels there might be some more also. They trace it and find more rats feeding on channa there. Suraj wonders about channa being there and Sandhya tells she knows how.
