Karan Sharma, who plays Sunny in Balaji Telefilm's popular show, Pavitra Rishta has decided to quit the show.<br /><br />Our source says, "The character of Sunny didn't shape up as it was supposed to be. This is what made Karan decide to put down his papers to which the production house too agreed."<br /><br />TellyBuzz spoke to Karan, who confirmed the news saying, "The character was good but it was not shaping up in the right way. That's why I told the production house that I will be quitting the show as I am getting better opportunities and the production house agreed as I was getting something better."<br /><br />We asked him about his experience of being a part of Balaji Productions' Pavitra Rishta. He said, "It was a good experience being a part of the show. I have got a lot of recognition through the show as Sunny. I went to my hometown recently and everyone was recognizing me as Sunny. Pavitra Rishta is a very good show and one gets a good recognition being a part of the show but as an actor there was not much scope for my character."<br /><br />Talking about his future plans, Karan says, "I have few projects in hand and I am looking forward to go ahead with it. The good-looking actor Avinesh Rekhi who is playing a central character of Sultan in Colors popular show Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, is currently surrounded by high pitched drama and twist in the tale.<br /><br />While talking to TellyBuzz about his character, Avinesh says, "I'm enjoying playing the character of Sultan, who is portrayed to be very strong and sturdy. In fact in real life too, there are some of my traits which are similar to Sultan. Just like him, even I am a quiet person, I don't speak much and we both look the same." (Laughs)<br /><br />While Madhu (Drashti Dhami) and RK (Vivian Dsena) are finally married, the ongoing track of the show is now revolving around Sultan and the entry of his mother which has added more spice to the show. So we knew each other even before she entered in this show."<br /><br />Avinesh also adds, "Zarinaji is a senior actor and working with her yet again is a moment of gratification for me. However, its been said that the show will come to end by July and the character of RJ Ehsaas will have to die in the show.<br /><br />We asked Rohit Khurana what does he have to say about it.<br /><br />Opines Rohit, "I know my character Ehasaas is set to die in the show; I don't really understand why was it required for me to die in the show. There are rumours of the show going off-air but nothing has been intimated to me. As for Ehsaas dying it will bring a rise in the TRPs or a major twist which will boost interest among the viewers. But I still don't know how can Ehsaas's death keep the show going on as fans have been trending that they love my charcater a lot."<br /><br />Furthermore he went on to say, "It's a channel's call hence I can't help but die in the show, and I guess it all happened in Uttaran after the death of my character Vansh after which the show saw a massive growth in the TRP with 8.4. I hope it goes well for Khoobsurat as well. However, I still feel that Madhav was the beautiful man at heart who truly loved Aaradhya. The message that was portrayed in the show is commendable. As of now I am taking care of my daughter who is four years old while also performing many kathak shows abroad as well as doing movies."<br /><br />When we asked her about the changing trends in the industry she said, "Yes, it has changed over the time. The industry has now become very perfect and also is to the point however since nowadays shows don't run that long, the personal connect is missing. While during our time we used to shoot for hours and hours and would stay together in the same room nowadays people are very professional and are inclined towards their goal."<br /><br />Talking about what she likes to watch on Television she says, "I love watching television. As of now I like Saraswatichandra on Star Plus. I like the overall concept of the show, the entire show is built up quite well and everyone is acting very well in the show."<br /><br />"Lastly I would like to thank all my fans for loving and being with me till date. However, we don't work in a pressure; in fact the humongous popularity inspires us to take its second edition to another level."<br /><br />Talking about her character, Rubina says,"Shashi Mittalji called me and said 'Rubina I'm writing the script considering you as the character in my mind.' So that itself is an admiration for me. Though there are no similarities in my reel and real life image, but my personality can easily dwell into the character as said by Shashiji."<br /><br />Quite often than not, actors sharing an equivalent on-screen lead space end up with stereotyped cluttered relations. On sharing a screen space with the parallel lead Srishty Rode, Rubina says, "Well, I know Srishty quite well since Choti Bahu. It's a wonderful experience to work with her yet again. To be frank, Srishty is just a sweetheart; she is very bubbly and gels around easily with everybody.* We are having a good-time working together."<br /><br />Rubina also goes on to say, "Even after spending 18 hours together at work, we sometimes hangout or go on a small drive to relax. So our equation is very smooth and chilled-out. I always make sure my house is available if ever we plan to party, and that has happened twice till now. This monsoon I wish to go to Lonavala and some place near Igatpuri, but let's see."<br /><br />When asked Rubina's definition of love, she says, "For me, love means depth of understanding. So I think for any relation to prosper, there should be utmost understanding between the two. <br /><br />The very handsome Kolkata boy Ayaz Ahmed who is portraying the role of Raghu in Life OK's new show Do Dil Ek Jaan is in a happy space being part of the show as the main lead.<br /><br />In conversation with TellyBuzz, Ayaz talks about his on-screen character, "Do Dil Ek Jaan has given me an opportunity to depict a role that I have never done before. Raghu is a typical Mumbai ka mawali with shades of grey. This guy is very similar to Robinhood Pandey, who has his own gun-toting gangster style but is also concerned about others."<br /><br />Talking about his journey in this show, Ayaz says, "As of now, Do Dil Ek Jaan has been going great. I'm grateful that I'm working with such excellent people around. Each day when I read the script, the story leaves me stunned. Every time there is something new, interesting and appealing in store for me. I'm enjoying every single bit of it."<br /><br />In the recent times, there have been many instances where actors after gaining fame in the television industry made a cross-over to Bollywood. When asked if Ayaz aspires to get into films, he says, "Well, I think every actor has a secret aim to make it big in Bollywood. But frankly speaking, at present I'm not looking forward to it. I'm pouring in all my efforts in Do Dil Ek Jaan. I believe films are larger than life and so is my show. It has all the elements required in a film."<br /><br />Ayaz who feels contended with his stint in this new show, goes on further sharing his experience with TellyBuzz. He says, "For a grand opening, initially we shot extensively in a snow clad location at Kashmir with all those choppers and helicopters, giving it a complete filmy touch. Not just that, the romance, high voltage drama sequence and fighting stunts are an added advantage. We've been fortunate to share screen space with veteran actor Farooque Shaikh, which was an amazing experience. Do Dil Ek Jaan is a complete package and I find no reason to look out for some other stage at present."

<br /><br />The 10th edition of Star Plus "Star Parivaar Awards" was not just about the grand sets and trophies, it was also about entertaining and scintillating dance sequences choreographed by Shiamak Davar.<br /><br />This was the first time Shiamak choreographed something for the small screen and the performances by the celebrities turned out to be a visual delight for the audience.<br /><br />Sooraj-Sandhya from "Diya aur Baati hum", Aditya-Pankhuri from "Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara", Gopi-Ahem and Rashi-Jigar from "Saath Nibhana Saathiya", Aakash-Poonam from "Ek Ghar Banauga", Ranvijay-Veera and their on screen mom Ratan from "Veera" as well as "Nach Baliye 5" winners Jay Bhanushali-Mahi Viz, not only rocked the dance floor, but thoroughly entertained the guests.<br /><br />From "Bijli aaye na aaye" from "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" to "Radha" from "Student Of The Year", the TV actors' performances were a treat for the guests that included Bollywood actors Ritesh Deshmukh, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.<br /><br />And if that was not enough, celebrity chefs Vikas Khanna and Kunal Kapur, seen judging "Master Chef India", added to the fun with their 'jhatkas' and 'matkas'.<br /><br />The gala evening was held Saturday at the Yash Raj Studios here.<br /><br />The "Star Parivaar Awards", which started in 2003 to honour the TV actors who are part of the Star Plus' shows, will be aired soon on the TV and the winners name will be unveiled there.<br />

Guess who is a big fan of Akshay Pal? It is none other than Harbajan Singh. The Indian cricket team spin bowler was clean bowled with the mind blowing performance of Akshay Pal on STAR Plus' dance reality show IDS, India's Dancing Super Star.<br /><br />This came to light when Bhajji recently posted on a social media site about how he felt about that Akshay Pal's performance. Harbhajan wrote, "Just watched this kid Akshay Pal performing on Star Plus India s dancing superstar he is already a superstar the way he dance mind-blowing."<br /><br />When Akshay learnt about what his favorite cricket star had tweeted about him he was on cloud nine. An excited Akshay said, "It has not yet sunk in my system that Bajji actually loved my performance on the show. It is the biggest compliment of my life. I am so happy today and this is all thanks to the stage of India's Dancing Superstar and yes my judges who have made me come so far in the competition."<br /><br />Akshay who hails from Indore made it to top 13 is competing to win the title of India's Dancing Superstar.

On the same we got in touch with him to know on why does he feel so.<br /><br />Jay said, "Daily soaps need a lot of dedication and hectic work hours whereas I feel in marriage that is not required. When you get married you can go on a vacation and have ample of time to spend with family and friends which is not at all possible when you are shooting. Even if we want to take a small break* it has to be taken not when we wish to but when there is no work."<br /><br />Further he added, "People think that doing a daily soap is a cake walk but the fact is that it is very tough and not easy as we think. There is a lot of hard work and commitment needed. An actor has to work nonstop without any complaints of being tired. So also have to be portraying the emotions of the character that you are portraying donned in the show."<br /><br />"But apart from the commitment difference between doing a daily soap and getting married, I love acting and the creative process behind it. Acting is my only passion and* I love my work as an actor."<br /><br />On his plans after finishing Sanskaar, he said "I want to for a long holiday to Europe. I would also love to do movies if I get good offers. I would be very happy if I get to do films like Go Goa Gone."

Viewers can always expect the 'unexpected' when it comes to the twists in Life OK's Amrit Manthan (Director's Kut Productions). With the notorious plans of Karan (Angad Hasija) coming to the fore, Nimrit (Ankita Sharma) is surely put to the edge. While the wedding preparations of Karan and Nimrit are in process, Nimrit who is being blackmailed by Karan is trying hard to stop the wedding from happening.<br /><br />So what does Nimrit do? Well, we hear that though Nimrit is frightened about Karan's future plans, she musters courage to arrange some goons to kidnap Karan just before the wedding. <br /><br />In the last few episodes of Star Plus’ Veera (Beyond Dreams Productions), one has seen the dramatic entry of a tiger.<br /><br />Now, in the coming scenes, the hungry beast will enter the school where Rannvijay (Bhavesh Balchandani) and Veera (Harshita Ojha) study.<br />Our sources inform that there is a high end drama sequence lined up this week. Nihal (Kapil Nirmal) –who has taken the responsibility as the man of the house – will have a fist fight with the tiger.<br /><br />A la Himmatwala? We got going to find out more.<br /><br />We found out that the tiger will enter the premise of the school, and Veera who thinks she’ll be able to win over the animal by feeding him, in the absence of Rannvijay will go forward to meet the animal.<br /><br />Seeing the little girl in close encounter with the tiger, Nihal will jump on to fight and save Veera.<br /><br />Yash Patnaik, the producer of the show told us, “We have been working on this track for the past one month. This won’t be a filmy act, rather a very realistic shot one. Nihal won’t fight to kill, but rather to survive.”<br /><br />We also spoke to Kapil Nirmal who plays Nihal, about his thrilling experience of a fight with the tiger, and he said, “Yes, it was fun. The emotional bond Nihal has with Veera led him to wrestle the animal. And in the end he succeeds in tranquilizing the tiger, saving the children trapped in school and also the animal.” Kapil added that it wasn’t a Himmatwala act, but rather a “himmat-se done fight”.<br /><br />Woah… a heroic act we say!!!<br /><br />This sequence will further lead to a strong connection between Nihal and Veera and her family. <br /><br />A lazy ‘grasshopper’ has no place in the Indian TV industry. An actor needs to be the busy ‘ant’ from the Aesop’s Fable The Ant and the Grasshopper else he will fade out from the industry fast.<br /><br />In fact, actors can’t even afford taking sick leaves and that includes Shaleen Malhotra who plays ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte in Star Plus’ Arjun (4 Lions Films). He had recently updated his status on WhatsApp Messenger thereby informing all on his list that he was unwell.<br /><br />We contacted him today (17 June 2013) to find out the details. He replied first via message saying, “Just the extra stress travelling Nd shooting and gym din rest at all and then shot in rains ya now much better…Thanks (sic).”<br /><br />Later, on calling him up we got to know that of late when Mumbai was receiving very heavy showers, he had shot for three hours in the rain at a stretch. He said, “Two days ago I had a fever of 103 F and yesterday I had a fever of 101 F. I went to the doctor who gave me medicines which made me feel drowsy. I am feeling better now. And on a normal daily routine,I sleep just for four to five hours in a day and work out in the gym for four to five times a week for about one and a half hours daily.”<br /><br />We were happy to know that he is recovering. “I am much better today with just mild fever.” wishes him a speedy recovery.<br />

When Manish Nawani who currently plays the role Avijeet in The Buddy Project met Harsh Rajput, who will soon enter as Ishan in Channel V’s Crazy Stupid Ishq (Sphere Origins) at a party two years ago, little did he know that they would meet again and work together in future.<br /><br />On 5 June 2013, all the Channel V’s artistes met (for a shoot) at the fun park Imagica which is on Pune Mumbai Highway. This sequence will be telecast on the channel on 28 June 2013.<br /><br />Manish and Harsh met all over again in Imagica which overjoyed both of them. Interestingly, both of them will meet in reel life once again in The Buddy Project. Our source revealed to us that on this show Ishan is to meet Avijeet after a gap of two years. Both will be shown as excited to reconnect.<br /><br />Manish gushes, “It was a pleasure to meet an old friend like Harsh. I thank Channel V for arranging a fun trip where we got to know other actors from other shows on the channel. What I didn’t know at that point was that Harsh would be introduced through our show. When the script came along where I meet him after two years on screen, I was excited. It was almost uncanny. I am looking forward to his entry.”<br /><br />Harsh adds, “I had met Manish for the very first time at a party in Club Enigma in the J.W.Marriott. We would hang out together and go clubbing regularly. We lost touch when we got busy with our respective careers. Besides, Manish had returned to Delhi for a while. It was great to reconnect with him in real life. I love having fun with my friends and family and I enjoy life to the fullest. I am just like a kid, who can't keep quite even if asked to do so (chuckles) I keep on doing masti. I don't even take rest on my days off. I prefer going out for shopping or watching a movie since I love watching movies. I am a family person and can't stay alone without my people around. I am also a food lover and love having non-vegetarian food. I also love travelling and it's my agenda to travel around the world.<br /><br />How did you begin your acting career?<br /><br />I began my acting career with Cinevistaas' Koi Hai on Star Plus. The shoot was supposed to be happening in Jaipur and they were auditioning for some roles in Delhi. I was doing modeling in Delhi and I was 16 yrs. old that time. They pushed me to go for this audition. When I came for the audition, I got to know that we have prepare our own script to give the audition. I had never done it before but I did it and they liked it and that's how I bagged the show. My Mom was into plays so I think that acting ka keedaa came from my Mom only. Ek Aur Agni Pareeksha was my first show after coming to Mumbai, then I did Stree Teri Kahaani on DD 1, then I got Naaginn..Wadon ki Agnipariksha, Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye, Kahiin To Hoga, Mera Naam Karegi Roshan, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Khel, Jhilmil Sitaaron ka Aangan Hoga and now Badalte Rishton ki Daastan.<br /><br />In between, I have also done few regional movies. I also got a chance to work with a very renowned producer of Odia who are as big as Yash Raj in Odia. The movie was a super duper hit in Odisa. I also did few regional movies in Bengali and Bhojpuri movies with Ravi Kissen. Then, my dates were clashing with my television schedule and I wanted to focus more on my television career so, I concentrated only on my television career and did Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli.<br /><br />Of all the characters played by you, which once is closest to your heart?<br /><br />It has to be Lata from Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli! The scenes and the chemistry was good and people liked it so much that even now people* remember the pair of Raj (Sameer Dharmadhikari) and Lata and I keep reading their messages on Facebook. They even send mails to Zee TV and Kavita Barjatya to bring this pair back. This character touched me as the character was getting build up properly and it was the parallel lead but sadly, this started happening later when the show was to go off-air. I wish all those messages had happened little earlier.<br /><br />With which character,* can you relate yourself the most?<br /><br />As yet, I haven't got any character with which I can relate myself to. I can relate myself a little bit to the character of Lata, which I played in Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli because she was homely and sanskaari. I also address people with respect by saying 'Ji' to them and we talk with respect even to children in our family. *<br /><br />How were you as a kid? <br /><br />I used to be a very quite child as a kid. I used to hide behind my Mom when somebody used to come to meet me. I have never played with kids but I turned out to be quite the opposite when I entered into my teens (laughs).<br /><br />Was becoming an actor in your mind since your childhood days?<br /><br />I had never thought of becoming an actor during my childhood days. I was into modeling during my teenage years because of my brother. He went for an audition and I also went there along with him and I gave the audition and got selected. I always wanted to become a doctor or an air hostess.<br /><br />How was the experience working with Rajshri Productions?<br /><br />It was a very nice experience to work with them. Rajshri's one of the best production houses to work with. They make you feel very comfortable on the sets. One gets a different feeling being altogether on their sets. They treat everyone with a lot of love and respect.<br /><br />Fans have loved the pair of Raj and Lata and still cherish the moment and want this pair back. How do you feel about it and what you would like to say to the fans?<br /><br />The character of Lata is very close to my heart and one of my favorite work and shows. I hope to get a role similar to this again in near future with whichever actor opposite to me whether Sameer Dharmadhikari or someone else and people will admire the character like this. I would like to say to my fans that history can't be repeated but I hope to satisfy my fans again with some other shows.<br /><br />Are you in touch with Sameer Dharmadhikari? What kind of bonding you used to share with off-screen?<br /><br />He is a very nice and fun loving person. I am not that much in touch with him now because of our busy schedules; its not possible to talk daily or meet but sometimes, we do message each other. We are friends and we will remain friends always. I used to share a good bonding with each other and used to have food together on the sets along with my on-screen mother in law.<br /><br />With whom are you closest to on the sets of Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan?<br /><br />I am very close to everyone on the sets. I share my room with Tanushree Kaushal (my on-screen Taiji) so I am very close to her... she is a very nice human being. I am a pure soul and very simple; whatever I am from inside, I am from outside too and Tanushree is also like me. I like making friendship with such people so both of us became good friends.<br /><br />What are your views about Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan ending so suddenly?<br /><br />Its sad and shocking. I feel that, a lot could have happened in the show and TRPs also would go higher, if was in a different time slot. A lot of drama and tracks are yet to unfold but don't know why it couldn't happen. I feel that everything has its own time span so, I am not feeling that sad about what to do next. I am charged up with a hope to see something new coming my way and definitely I would be back soon with a different role. I would like to a play challenging character in future because I know my potential.<br /><br />Your presence on social media?<br /><br />I am not on Twitter. I am on Facebook but I am not a Facebook person. I go there in 3-5 days to check messages and notifications. I am a homely kind of person who likes being with family and friends rather than going on social networking sites but I will be doing this from now on wards, so that* I can keep myself connected to my friends or fans.<br /><br />Craziest fan encounter so far?<br /><br />I remember a fan who sent a collage for me in which there were a lot of pictures of mine from my different shows, my modeling days, with Sameer and also from my Odia movies with a quotation below each picture. She also sent a big card along with that. The craziest encounter I had was when I got an e-mail from one of fans saying, 'Why you are doing Jhilmil Sitaron Ka Aangan Hoga? We don't like the chemistry with your husband in this show. We want you back as Lata with Sameer. Why the channel is not listening to our request and why are they not bothered about this? Why they are not bringing you and Sameer as lead pair?' and then she sent this mail to Zee TV and to producer Kavita Barjatya also. She also put this message on Facebook. She had written this with a lot of anger. I felt that fans were not happy to see me playing the wife of any other actor after reading that mail (laughs).<br /><br />What kind of roles would you like to play in future?<br /><br />I would like to play characters with grey shades in the future. I want to play some different character apart from this typical rona dhona characters. I want to play the real me who is very bubbly and westernized. I am a fun loving person and I even keep on doing masti on the sets so, I would like to play this kind of character or then maybe a negative one too.<br /><br />Do you dream for Bollywood?<br /><br />I never took it seriously but people in my family, keep on telling me to give a try. I want to try getting into Bollywood if something good comes my way.<br /><br />Message to your fans about your comeback after Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan?<br /><br />Talks are on and I recently was on a vacation for 8-10 days and came back yesterday only. I was in Delhi and now I will see what has to be done. I would like to say to my fans that I will come back soon and won't dis-hearten them. I will take up something challenging and different this time which they will like it.
