Kabir says that Jyoti's choice will always be best and walks out. Vikrant asks for the girl's name to Jyoti and she replies Rashmi. She then asks if he's forgotten that he still has to search for her. He laughs it off and promises to find Rashmi. Vikrant goes to talk to Chachi about what happened.

At the hospital, the doc informs Rashmi and Deepu that Jeet has malaria. Deepu agrees to admit the baby in the hospital and Rashmi thanks Deepu for all he is doing. Back at the Sharmas, Padma starts crying and Dadi asks her what the matter is. Padma expresses her concern for Jyoti. Poonam comes there and says that Rashmi is their problem.

At the haveli Bhavri brings snacks for Raghu in his room. Jyoti watches from outside and motions Bhavri to do something. Bhavri starts dancing around with the bottle of sauce and ends up splashing some on Raghu's shirt. She laughs at how it looks like he got shot (heheLOL). She gets him a new shirt and then asks what he would do if a girl blamed him for first marrying her and then dumping her? He says that he would also get some girls from an ashram to bail him out. Jyoti is shocked. Bhavri asks if that's what Vikrant did, and which ashram has so many girls. He gives the name of Sumedha Mahila Ashram. Jyoti heads there. At the ashram, Jyoti sees a big picture of RP on the wall. She asks to meet the girls, and is surprised to see that there are only 4 that stay there and they are all old women unlike the girls yday.

Bhavri tells Asha to come quick, since Jyoti has a mysterious envelope and she has interrupted RP and Chachi to say something important. They both rush to see what is happening with Reema. In the hall, Chachi yells at Jyoti for interfering when men are discussing. Jyoti tells Chachi that she is a woman too. Kabir reaches there at this time and Jyoti tells them all to listen as she has something important to say. She takes out a picture she took with the 4 women at the ashram and shows it to Kabir. Jyoti runs to Rashmi's room and sees Rashmi hiding in a corner with her child. Jyoti asks if she's named him yet, and Rashmi says no. Jyoti offers to name him, and picks the name Jeet. Jyoti leaves after promising Rashmi that Vikrant will come here to personally take her to the haveli. In the car, Kabir tells Jyoti that he promises to stand by her at every moment.

When they reach home, a lady blames Vikrant for marrying her in a mandir and then abandoning her. Vikrant acts innocent. The lady sees Kabir and drops to his feet, begging for justice. Jyoti thinks that this girl is another person Vikrant has fooled, and she tells Kabir that she has to tell him something. Suddenly a group of girls from Vikrant's so-called ashram show up and talk about how he's helped them so much. Chachi brings up the police and suddenly the girl admits that she was just doing this for money. Kabir tells her to join Vikrant's ashram if she needs help. She goes off with the ashram girls. Jyoti notices that the girls are wearing pants and high heels inside their sarees. Kabir appreciates all the good Vikrant is doing while Jyoti thinks in dismay at how much they are fooling Kabir. RP tells that he thinks its time Vikrant gets married.

RP, chachi and Vikrant talk about getting Vikrant married before Jyoti finds Rashmi. Kabir enters and inquires about what they were saying. They lie that they were discussing Vikrant's wedding. In her room, Jyoti is thinking about what happened when Kabir and Vikrant arrive there. Kabir asks Jyoti why she's been hiding things. He explains that she never mentioned how she saw Vikrant at the construction site. Jyoti throws some double-meaning sentences at Vikrant about how she is going to get him married to the girl meant for him. Kabir leaves and Jyoti tells Vikrant that she'll make sure he only marries the girl of her choice. Vikrant finds Rashmi's payal and picks it up. He is shocked to find Jyoti standing right in front of him. He asks her what she's doing here and if she's come with Kabir. She explains that Kabir came here on a business trip and he won't be back till the evening. Vikrant lies that he came to oversee construction but now he has to go help another girl who needs his help. Jyoti watches as he leaves. She runs over by where Rashmi has hidden and asks why she told her not to tell Vikrant anything, when he was looking for her. Rashmi refuses to say anything and tries leaving. Jyoti tells her that she is taking her child's kasam and she has to tell her. Rashmi explains how Vikrant is the father of her child and he is trying to kill them now. Jyoti is unable to believe this at first and decides to call Kabir. Rashmi runs up to the top of the construction site and threatens to jump off if Jyoti tells Kabir anything. Kabir calls back and Jyoti tells Kabir shakily that she's going to her maayka. Kabir agrees and hangs up. Rashmi hugs Jyoti and cries.

Vikrant calls Chachi and explains what happened to her. She tells him to come back home immediately. Once he reaches there, Chachi tells him that if Jyoti brings Rashmi home… both Kabir and RP will side with her. On her instruction Vikrant calls up Kabir and tells him that he met Jyoti at the construction site today. Kabir is confused hearing that. Vikrant says that Jyoti was looking unusually worried.

Jyoti takes Rashmi to the Sharmas. Padma and Dadi warn her not to get her maayka problems intertwined with her sasural. Jyoti tries explaining Rashmi's predicament to them, and Poonam interrupts saying that they are not going to keep Rashmi in this house. Rashmi listens to this from her room. Padma agrees with Poonam, and says that Jyoti should stay away from problems like Rashmi. Jyoti asks if she would say the same if they were talking about Sushma. Deepu offers to take responsibility of Rashmi. Dadi tells Jyoti that she must tell Kabir before someone else does and there is a misunderstanding. Kabir enters the house. Bhavri asks Asha why she didn't say anything. Asha gets flashes of Sumer's threats. Sumer enters there and Bhavri leaves. Sumer tells Asha that lies aren't believed unless they are asserted again. He brings her along with him. In their room, Kabir explains why he left in the first place to Jyoti. RP and Chachi come there and try to get Kabir to stay, in vain. RP slaps Sumer and tells him to tell the truth. Asha enters and Kabir questions her one more time. Jyoti suggests talking to her in private. Kabir takes Asha into a room and asks her again what happened. Before narrating anything, she tells Kabir that whatever she is doing is for their best. She says something to him in mute.

Kabir comes out of the room and says that Asha still doesn't agree with Jyoti and they are leaving now. Later, Jyoti is packing and Bhavri asks what will become of her once Jyoti leaves. She tells Jyoti how lucky she is to have a hubby like Kabir. Jyoti and Kabir are all set to leave with their bags. Asha pulls Jyoti's hand back as she is leaving but Jyoti lets it go. Jyoti-Kabir walk to the exit but stop before they leave. Jyoti tells Kabir that they cannot leave against everyone's wishes. Asha, Bhavri and Reema are overjoyed while the rest fume in anger. Jyoti asks if her brother knew about Sumer. Bhavri explains that Asha comes from a poor family, and Asha's brother had no other option. Jyoti lectures about how women should not be treated as burdens. Meanwhile in Chachi's room, she holds Sumer back from shooting Jyoti straight away. She calls RP and he instructs her on what steps to take next. Kabir wakes up and asks who RP was talking to. He lies and says that Asha returned and was having a fight with Sumer when Jyoti interfered. He laughs about how Jyoti is so stubborn.

The next morning Jyoti talks to Reema and realizes she heard the commotion from her room. Bhavri announces that Kabir returned. Jyoti noticed Sumer leave from her room, and is shocked not seeing Asha inside. Suddenly, Asha taps her on the shoulder and Jyoti is relieved. She takes her and goes to the front room. She tells Asha to tell the truth, but Asha lies that it was a small fight. Jyoti intervenes and explains that Asha was locked in the storeroom. Kabir is shocked. Jyoti takes them all there but is disappointed to find the diya missing. She tries to get someone to vouch for her but no one helps Jyoti out. Finally, Jyoti desperately begs for Kabir to believe her. All look to him.
