Hanif Hilal makes his debut with Balaji Telefilms

Hanif Hilal who was last seen in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa (and got replaced due to differences with Gauhar Khan) is now entering a daily soap produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms.
According to our source, "Hanif will be part of Desi Twilight, titled Fanaa on Star One. He will be playing friend of the female lead. Vivan Bhatena and Vivian D'sena have been shortlisted to play the male lead and Ekta Kapoor is looking for a fresh female lead."
When contacted Hanif he told DTF, "I am trying to get into acting and I have given many auditions but nothing is confirmed yet."
From what can be deduced with the present information, Hanif will most probably enact the character of Jacob Black portrayed by Taylor Lautner in the original Twilight.
