I am fortunate that I am still fresh when it comes to TV, says Bhanu Uday

Bhanu Uday stunned one and all with his heroic looks in Star One’s Special Squad after which he went on to be a part of quite a few movies. The actor was recently seen in the inspiring show Lakhon Mein Ek, produced by Big Synergy for Star Plus.

However, Bhanu would love to take up more television projects but is waiting for right opportunities. He tells us, “When I was doing television, I got obsessed with movies and wanted to branch out. Now that I have had a nice journey in Bollywood, I want to get back to television and probably take up something that is challenging. I have never done any romantic roles, so that could be a nice genre to work on. I also want to do some commercial ads as I have never done any.”

“After Special Squad, I got quite a lot of offers on television but I did not want to over-expose myself then. In simple words, I am fortunate that I am still fresh when it comes to television,” he explains.

Bhanu is awaiting the release of three of his movies. Talking about them, he states, “I have shot for the movie Yaksh directed by Mukul Abhyankar. The movie will also be a comeback for talented actor Nitish Bharadwaj. Also, I have an international film Blemished Light due for release. The movie is directed by R. Amit Kumar and we shot for the movie in New York for three months. The movie has a stellar cast in Victor Banerjee, Ankur Vikalp, Ali Khan, Adil Husain, Sushant Singh, Raima Sen and two girls from New York. The third movie lined up for release is Machli Jal Ki Rani Hai which is a horror film directed by Debaloy Roy.”
