The well admired actor Amar Upadhyay will be seen portraying a pivotal role in Contiloe upcoming show Maha Rana Pratap on Star Plus..
Contiloe production, the creators of the popular historic character Jhansi Ki Rani on Television; are now in quest to bring alive yet another significant character Maharana Pratap, a Hindu ruler of Mewar, but this time on Star Plus.
A Little Birdie informs us that, "Amar Upadhyay who enacted the popular role of Mihir will be seen portraying the role of Uday Singh. The story will be based on the life of Maharana Pratap who had 27 wives but he was very close to 3 wives. Also as Amar is well trained in horse riding and sword fighting he will be seen performing stunts on his own."
When contacted Amar Upadhyay who was last seen portraying a cameo role in Rajan Shahi's, Bidaai, asserted, "Talks are on for various projects but can't comment anything before signing a contract."
We also tried contacting Abhimanyu producer of the show he replied, "I can't comment on anything you need to talk to channel for this."
