Akanksha Singh owes a party to co-actor Kunal Karan Kapoor

Akanksha Singh, who plays the lead of Sunshine Productions’ Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha on Colors, is no doubt elated after bagging the Best Fresh Face Female Award at the Eleventh Indian Telly Awards which will air on Colors on 30 June 2012 at 7pm. However, she owes it big time to co-actor Kunal Karan Kapoor who has had his own little contribution in Akanksha getting the award.

Wondering what we are talking about? Well, read on as Kunal Karan Kapoor explains.

“The very first day I learnt about Akanksha’s nomination, I went ahead and voted for her. I had also told her that if she gets the award, I would want a party”.

So has the pretty lady hosted a party for Kunal? The actor goes on, “No, she has not given a party yet. And I am waiting for it (smiles).”

We thought of giving a reminder to Akanksha that there’s a bash in waiting for Kunal. Says Akanksha: “Yes, I am aware that I have promised to give Kunal a party. But my schedule does not leave me with enough time. But this does not mean that there will be no party, we will have a get-together soon (smiles). In fact, I did distribute sweets, but the party remains pending.”

On a funny note, Akanksha adds, “I will now have to talk to Kunal as he is going around complaining about it.”
