February 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): ‘Jugni Chali Jalandhar’, the SAB TV show that has recently completed 300 successful episodes, aspires to entertain its audience time after time. Working on their motto the show is ready to regale its audience yet again with their offbeat track.
Our source from the sets informs, “The next track will be about the past life of Jugni and her hubby Vicky (Karan Godwan). They were lovers in their past life. But, as is usually shown in the movies, the break-ups between the lovers are due to the poor financial status of the girls versus the rich status of the boys. The same formula is used here with Jugni and Vicky.”
“In their past life, Jugni is a very poor girl named Rani, who is, actually, a potter’s daughter, and, on the other hand, Vicky is the king of that territory named Kuwar Singh. Their love story blossoms, which will eventually not be accepted by the society,” adds the source.
Thus, we called Muskaan Mihani. She tells, “Yes! Right now, we are busy shooting with our 'past life' track, which will be aired on Monday, in which Jugni will be seen in a different avatar. In Jugni’s previous life, she did not belong to a Punjabi family but was a typical Rajasthani resident with ‘ghagra’ and ‘choli’. So, there is something special for the audience as Jugni will not be in her routine salwar-kameez.”
