Divyanka Tripathi joins the SAB TV 'laughter' brigade..

Divyanka Tripathi will be seen in a comedy show on SAB TV, produced by Contiloe Telefilms.

It seems like the Bahus of Indian Television are switching over to comedy to get a break from the monotony of shedding tears. And what better platform than SAB TV the only comedy entertainment channel, can the actors get to showcase their comic timing!!

Well, after Juhi Parmar (one of the leading Bahus of television) moved to comedy with SAB TV's court room comedy Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai, it is the turn of the gorgeous Divyanka Tripathi to make her fans burst into laughter!!

According to our source, "SAB TV has apparently finalized Divyanka Tripathi for their yet untitled comedy show, to be produced by Contiloe Telefilms. Divyanka has always shown an inclination to doing comedy, and she was excited when she got this role. In fact, she had bagged another pricey offer from Big Synergy for a Zee TV fiction show. But Divyanka has chosen the comedy show".

"Divyanka had long back shot the pilot for the show, and was waiting for the show to be approved. Just recently, the show has been approved and SAB TV has started working on it", adds our source.

When contacted, Producer Abhimanyu Singh of Contiloe Telefilms said, "I cannot comment on this".

Divyanka on the other hand denied the news.

However, Anooj Kapoor, Business Head, SAB TV told us, "Yes, a show with Divyanka Tripathi is surely on the cards. But it is too early to talk on it".
