Malegaon Ka Chintu gets thumbs up from chintoos!

The show’s preview at a school earns applaud and riotous laughter from children…encouraging the makers several fold!

Deepti Bhatnagar, after doing comedy shows like Mein Kab Saas Banungi is coming up with a silent comedy on SAB TV titled Malegaon Ka Chintu. The first critic to watch this show was Deepti's son Shubh.
Deepti says, "My son is 7 years old but his vision is very sharp. In school also if he has to write any essay he will choose such a topic that is beyond his age. He sometimes gives me business tips!"
"Anooj Kapoor, Business Head, SAB TV, suggested to me that we should show the first episode to children and see their reaction. It was his idea to screen the movie at Shubh's school. I took permission and arranged for the screening. To my happiness, the children were laughing their heart out," Deepti tells us excitedly.
Deepti has mixed feelings about the location of Malegaon's shooting. "Yes the show doesn't have a proper set. The whole shoot is taking place in actual locations…real places. Many normal citizens, non-actors will be seen in the show. The shoot is taking place in Malegaon. Sad na, if it would be in Mumbai then I would have gotten the chance to visit the sets everyday, get more involved. But I'm happy too because the show has the true flavor of Malegaon," Deepti signs off.
