Shrenu Parekh, Anurag Sharma and Leena Shah in Byah Hamari Bahu Ka
Tellychakkar.com has extensively and exclusively written about Hats Off Productions’ new show on Sony Entertainment Television, titled Byah Hamari Bahu Ka. We have already reported that Benaf Dadachandji will play one of the female leads in the show. We now hear that Shrenu Parekh, who was the lead in Rajan Shahi’s show on Colors Havan, has been roped in to play the role of the other female lead.
“Yes, I have been approached to play the lead. I have that in mind, but as of now, I am in a vacation mood. So I will be taking a call once I am back,” said Shrenu to Tellychakkar.com.
And that’s not it…there are other entries as well. Anurag Sharma, popularly known as Satish from Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta, and Gujarati actress Leena Shah have also been signed to be a part of Byah Hamari.
Anurag will play the role of Rajan, the son-in-law of the male's lead family. And Leena will be seen as Anurag’s wife, Surbhi. They will be a loving and passionate couple and both will have two-dimensional characters. Surbhi will be a corporate woman, who will have a big hand in the family business. She will be a thorough professional at work, and a very loving wife at home.
When contacted Anurag Sharma he confirmed the news and said, “All I can say at this moment is that I am a part of the show.”
Leena Shah too acknowledged that she is doing the Sony and Hats Off serial, and that this is her “first major stint on television after giving 10 years to Gujarati theatre”.
Our readers would know that we have already written about Dolly Minhas, Falguni Desai, Prateeksha Lonkar, Pawan Chopra being a part of the star cast.
We hear that the shoot for Byah… has begun and it is slated to launch in May, 2012. However, the search for the male lead is still on, and big names like Angad Hasija, Karan Wahi, Karan Singh Grover, Vishal Karwal etc have been approached for the plump role.
