Soumya Seth replaces Shraddha Arya in Shashi Sumeet Mittal's next on Sony?
earlier reported about Shraddha Arya moving out of Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd’s next on Sony Entertainment Television, Dil Ki Nazar Se … Khoobsurat. Everyone has been wondering since then who would be roped in by the production house to play the female lead.
Well…it seems that the makers have finally zeroed in on the name. If sources are to be believed then Soumya Seth (Navya fame) has emerged as the final choice to play the female lead in the serial.
“It was decided last night,” the source added.
Soumya currently is a part of Channel V’s The Serial.
We tried getting in touch with Soumya but she remained unavailable.
On connecting with Sumeet Mittal, he asked us to call later as he was stuck in a meeting.
We shall soon come up with more updates. But before signing off, here’s some important info for the uninitiated.
Sargun Mehta who is currently seen in Sony TV’s Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada was initially finalized to play the female lead in this project. But she walked out due to creative differences. The next to be roped in was Shraddha Arya and all was fine till monetary issues cropped up. Shraddha too took the exit route marking the entry of Soumya. We hope Soumya proves to be third time lucky for the production house.
