Rashmi Sharma's new show for Star Plus Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi has undergone some changes as far as the main cast is concerned....
We had long back reported that Rashmi Sharma is coming up with a new show on Star Plus, tentatively titled 'Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi'. As the title suggests, the story will be about the differing attitudes and life styles of the younger generation when compared to their elders.
As per our earlier report written sometime in Septemer 2009, the main cast of the show had been finalized. Vishal Singh of Kasamh Se fame was to play one of the leads while new face Krip was to play the other male lead. Ada who was earlier seen in Sony's Palampur Express was to play the female lead.
The show was expected to launch sometime in October 2009, but that did not happen due to various reasons. Instead, the production house decided to go on yet another phase of audition.
As per our source, "Vishal Singh still remains to be part of the show. However, in place of Krip, Aham Sharma who was earlier seen in NDTV Imagine's Chand Ke Paar Chalo has been finalized to play the other lead. Ada as reported by Telly Buzz, opted out of the show due to the delay, and has been finalized as one of the leads in Hats Off's new show on Star Plus, tentatively titled 'Four Sisters'. In place of Ada, it is heard that Kushi a new face has been short listed".
Earlier, Kunal Kuchal who was seen playing the role of Shravan in Sabki Laadli Bebo was also short listed to play one of the leads. Kushi who has more or less been finalized played one of the friends of Dhani in Star Plus' Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai.
When contacted, Aham Sharma told us, "I can't comment on anything till we go on the floors".
Producer Rashmi Sharma told us, "The show is at its scripting stage, and nothing as of now is confirmed".
Rashmi Sharma is presently producing Raja ki Ayegi Baraat for Star Plus...
