Bhagyashree who conquered the hearts of all as the innocent Suman in Maine Pyaar Kiya, is now back as participant in this season's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.




Sony's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 is all set to premiere on February 27th. And as the contestants get ready to battle it out on the dance floor, Bhagyashree the charming beauty who came to the limelight with Maine Pyaar Kiya feels that Jhalak offers her a learning curve.

"I had turned down many reality shows before taking up Jhalak. But the judges on this show are apt, for they are masters in their own craft. We all have seen many shows on television where judges are not worth to be seated on the dias. It's quite unfair if contestants are to be judged by ill-equipped people. And the fact that all presiding judges in Jhalak this season are of the fairer sex, makes me say 'Hail Woman Power'", quips Bhagyashree.

She is quite happy to have found a mentor in Toby. "I am learning a lot from him. As regards competition, Gauhar Khan and Hanif Hilal are the hottest looking Jodi, while Amarnathji is very cute", states the actress.

On the question of SMS voting she says, "It's fair if it is counted well". She does not support the policy wherein certain contestants appeal to their co-regionalists. "In today's times, it is wrong and I will want all Indians to support me".

She does not regard this show as a possible stepping stone for her return to Bollywood. "I am doing this, for I like the concept. If I get something interesting in films, I might take it up as well. I am always hungry for different roles; that was the reason why I started doing regional films. In one such film, I play a husband beater", avers she.

Bhagyashree who first blasted on to the big screen with Maine Pyaar Kiya does not regard her then decision to quit the industry as wrong. "Everybody has priorities in life and mine was my family. Now that my kids have grown up, I feel I have time to fulfill my aspirations. Luckily for me, Bollywood is slowly changing, more realistic films are now being made. I really liked A Wednesday , It was an emotional story which touched the patriotic chord in my heart ".
The same logic also applies to TV; if something different comes along say like a Balika Vadhu, then only I will consider", she adds.

In closing, she refuses to talk about her kids saying that due to certain unfortunate incidents, she would not want to expose her kids to the outside world.
