Director of Yahaan Main...Rohit Dwivedi sacked?

Gear up for some spice here. Rajshri Productions’ daily soap Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli on Zee TV has been hitting the headlines for quite some time now, be it treading the Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki way or Iqbal Khan making an entry, it seems that the show can’t stop stop being in the news.

Now, it is making headlines for not such a great development. Tellychakkar.com has learnt, via credible sources, that producer Kavita Barjatya has sacked the serial’s director, Rohit Dwivedi and has replaced him with Kaushik Ghatak. Kaushik has directed shows like Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Sanskriti, Sshhh….Koi Hai, Sanjivani, et al.

So why was Rohit shown the door in spite of being associated with the show for a period of two years? We have the dope.

Rohit often resorted to using foul language on the set, much to the chagrin of the cast and other production personnel. Rajshri Productions, which is known for its congenial and homely atmosphere on the set, tolerated the nuisance for quite some time but they had to budge after they started receiving complaints against Rohit, informed a source.

Things went out of hand during a recent episode wherein Zee TV asked the cast and crew of Yahaan Main… to shoot a special promo sequence starring Abha (Suhasi Dhami) and Karan (Karan V Grover). But Rohit abstained from shooting due to some reason. This infuriated the production house and finally they decided to let Rohit go.

We called up Kavita Barjatya to find out about the incident and after a patient hearing she refrained from commenting anything.

However, we got in touch with Rohit, who is currently relaxing in Aurangabad, and he said, “I have been a part of Yahaan Main…for more than two years. So I got bored and wanted to try something new and creative. So I decided to quit the show and move. We parted amicably.”

Hmm…so Yahaan Main…has a new director now. Let’s see how Kaushik, the new captain, controls the ship!!!
