Abeer enters his room .. and sees Leher lying on the bed. She is awake. Leher realises Abeer has returned and turns around to face him. There is silence between them .. Abeer takes the pillow, pulls out a sheet from the cupboard, and leaves the room. Leher is hurt.
Next morning .. Mridula brings BB some breakfast while Bittan is helping BB walk around the room. BB gets tired and he sits back on the wheelchair (why?) Bittan tells Mridula she will go help Rama while BB has his breakfast. BB is happy and says to Bittan that she has grown up (forcefully, acc. to me Confused) Mridula agrees with him.
Kul and Omi enter BB's room .. BB is shocked/surprised to see Omi. Omi greets BB and asks for his health and says that he couldnt stay away when he found out that BB was unwell and hopes he is now fine. BB says he is well. Kul asks Bittan to move aside (from BB) .. and sits next to his brother. Kul tells BB that he need not be so surprised looking at Omi there .. and says to him that Omi helped them, so the operation happened. BB is shocked. Kul goes on .. says Omi is like a god-send (devil-sent rather Dead) otherwise no one was willing to help after all the humiliation .. but since Omi is from their own community, he agreed to help them. BB turns and asks Mridula if its true .. she nods a yes. Omi says it was no big deal .. he is like a son to them (whatever!) and so what if he couldn't become their son-in-law .. it doesn't mean that he will break off all ties with them. Kul looks like he's making a breakthrough (plan working Dead) .. BB looks uncomfortable .. and Omi gives his disgusting look to Bittan Dead Angry Kul starts off with a semi-sob story .. says to BB that no family, no relatives came forward to help .. and gives off names of some relatives who showed their true colours when Bittan asked for their help .. and boasts of Omi helping them out. Kul says that Omi didn't want BB to know he helped them (liar liar! Angry) but he couldn't help it and says that Omi has mortgaged his own house to help them! Shocked Angry Dead BB is shocked .. and Omi tells Kul to leave the matter. BB, hand folded, thanks Omi for his help (not really happy to know about the help extended) and promises to pay back the money he spent. Omi tells BB that he need not embarras him like that .. and by saying what he said, he made him apne se paraya (you can never be anyone's apna Angry) does he not have any rights over them? (no you don't..so back off! Angry) Omi then says to BB that he follows one basic rule .. "hamesha dete waqt aankhein bandh rakhein .. aur lete waqt bhi hamesha apni aankhein bandh rakhein. Kehte hain lain-dain mein swarth na ho, toh parmatma dugna deta hai" Dead Kul is happy .. Omi looks towards Bittan, she feels uncomfy and excuses herself from there. Kul tells Omi that they need to leave BB for him to rest. Omi agrees .. says his goodbyes to BB & Mridula (touches their feet) .. Kul says he will see off Omi to the door. BB tells Mridula that he feels Omi has no good intentions (thank God BB realised atleast this much!) and wonders why he keeps coming back to help them .. what could be the reason? Mridula tells him to leave it .. tells him not to worry and relax.
Once out of BB's room .. Omi insists that Kul makes Bittan understand and ask her to speak about marriage .. how long will he wait? Dead Kul explains to Omi that the elders talk of marriage .. and he will speak to BB. Tells him not to worry and Omi's marriage to Bittan is his responsibility Dead Kul-Omi smile at each other (plan going smoothly na Dead) and takes his leave ..
VP house - Sudha calls Banke and tells him to take breakfast for Leher .. as she hasn't eaten anything since the previous night. Sudha sees Dadi sitting in the yard .. but is busy, so didn't see Banke.
Mathur house - Kul comes to BB-Mridula's room .. Bittan is there giving medicines to BB. Kul starts with praising Bittan, says how brave and samajhdar she is .. that Bittan was strong throughout BB's illness .. that she stood up like a son does ... "bete ka farz nibhaya Bittan ne", that she has grown up. Kul is thankful that now BB is feeling better .. and then drops the bombshell, says that they now need to think of Bittan's marriage. BB & Mridula are shocked .. and Kul insists they should think of getting Bittan married asap. Bittan excuses herself from there. BB is surprised that Kul is talking of Bittan's marriage. Kul says whats wrong in that? Says that girls going to their sasural, the sooner the better, "sar par se bojh utar jaata hai" (daughters are not bojh Angry) Kul says that he doesn't wanna remind them .. but they are yet haunted by whatever happened during Leher's wedding. And they realised this fact when no one came to help them when BB was ill, and says he does not want whatever happened with Leher, to happen to Bittan as well. Bittan is innocent .. and what if someone brainwashes her and takes her away. Mridula gets scared .. while BB is thinking hard. BB tells Kul that he is unwell.. where will he go find a guy for Bittan? And like Kul said to him .. no one came forward to help them, so who will marry Bittan? Kul says even he thought who would want to do rishta with their family .. but not to lose faith. Earlier also someone helped them .. and people are not so bad. Kul then asks BB what he thinks of Omi Dead Angry BB & Mridula are shocked .. Kul says Omi is ready to marry Bittan! Angry BB & Mridula are further shocked! Kul adds that BB-M are the parents and the ultimate decision will be theirs .. but he would only like to say that a person who has helped them so much, they shouldn't disappoint him. BB says he finds all these things weird .. first Omi came around to help Leher, he even agreed to marry her .. and now, Bittan? Kul fumbles and says to BB that he is now beginning to do shak .. Omi is their own (yours, yaa!) BB tells Mridula that he can't understand anything .. sudden marriage .. such hurry? Moreover .. they need to know what Bittan wants. Mridula agrees. BB tells Kul that he cannot come to any decision without Bittan's consent. Kul agrees .. half-heartendly .. and says that they should speak to Bittan and they'll decide together. Kul calls out to Bittan.. Bittan comes into the room, and BB says to her that Kul was saying something .. Kul continues and says to Bittan that he was talking about her marriage to Omi, and they thought they should ask her .. Kul, puts a firm hand on Bittan's shoulder and asks her if she agrees for marriage (damn .. the way he is influencing her decision Angry) BB says Bittan to speak up, that he wants to hear from her .. Kul again asks her, and Bittan replies that she is ready to marry Omi! Shocked BB & Mridula are shocked (At the rate both have been giving those shock wale expressions .. I thought kahin dono ko heartattack na aa jaaye Confused) BB tells Bittan there is no pressure on her .. no hurry and she can do as she pleases. Bittan says she like Omi Dead Sleepy Angry Again .. BB & Mridula shocked .. but Kul very happy! Dead Bittan adds that Omi has been very helpful .. and leaves the room. Outside the room, Bittan is in tears .. and inside, Kul reasons that Bittan must have felt shy Dead and tells BB that the wedding should happen the following day! Shocked BB & Mridula again shocked .. and Mridula asks how is it possible for the marriage to take place so soon? Kul says to her that with great difficulty they have got a guy .. and what if someone influences Bittan and she later refuses? Whether the marriage takes place tomorrow or 6 months later .. its the same. Moreover, they can't afford a grand wedding .. so they will have a simple wedding at home or have the pheras in the mandir. BB tries to say something .. but Kul cuts him off and says to him that if he has any doubts, he will back off (please do!) .. but Mridula stops him and says that what he is saying is right .. and they should not prolong the matter Shocked Angry BB again starts to protest .. but Kul agrees with Mridula and insists they should not delay it any further .. asks BB to rest .. he & Omi will make arrangements for the wedding. Before BB can say anything further .. Kul leaves.
