If sources are to be believed then Zee TV has taken away the rights of production of one of their upcoming shows from Big Synergy . The channel, apparently, wasn’t quite pleased with the pre-production. The channel wanted to launch the show in April but Synergy couldn’t manage to put the casting in place, let alone begin shooting.
According to a source, “Zee TV has apparently taken away the production rights from Big Synergy. Apparently, they weren’t happy with the way things were moving and there were creative differences too. The producers couldn’t get things in place within the stipulated time. The casting wasn’t in order and the script wasn’t developed as well. They had to shoot in Manali when it was snowing but now that winter is long over, one even doubts if the show will take off anytime soon.”
As reported earlier, Aniruddha Dave was one of the few actors to have been signed for the show. And Baytaab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai girl Priyamvada Kant and Mallika Kapoor were in the running for the female lead. Kant has now taken up Colors’ Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai.
Sukesh Motwani, Creative Head, Zee TV, said, “We develop a lot of projects with various production houses. Some reach the stage of production and some don’t.”
When asked if the show is happening any time soon, he said, “We don’t know.”
Anita Kaul Basu, director Big Synergy, said, “We are still in talks with the channel.
